Yes, Gentle Readers, the sweater progression is moving rapidly along! Last night I joined the sleeves to the body and this morning I am ready to begin the decreases and I am going to take Ann’s recommendation on how to work them. This is such a fast knit, it feels like it is just flying off the needles! I am thinking that I might be done today or tomorrow. And, not that I am hoping for more winter, I do hope that I will have a few days that I can wear it yet this season!
It is a grey and rainy day here, perfect for knitting and watching some Olympics! I even have a few links for you all today!
These socks are so cute! (And, free!)
Dying for a Team USA Closing Ceremony Hat? (also, free!)
Hasukai Cowl (scarf?) Free until March 10! And, this would be a great accessory piece for the Uniform shift!
My obsession with Lopapeysa’s continues: Hjaltlandspeysa
I really love Quince’s Piper 2018 collection.
And, finally…a couple of weeks ago, Steve surprised Sherman with a BarkBox… to say he liked it would be an understatement. The toys are perfect, but the treats have been the biggest hit! You’d think we starve him because he sits and stares at the “treat cupboard” any time we are in the room!
That’s all I have for this week, see you back here on Monday! Have a great weekend everyone!
Good for you !!! That sweater will be amazing. Im so into socks, so thanks for the free cute heart pattern!! Love it
Look at you go with that sweater! I haven’t even finished the first sleeve on mine.
Gorgeous!!! Your sweater is going to be done before you know it!
As always, thanks for the linkage. Cute socks! And DK!!! Or worsted!!! And the sweater!!! Lovely!
Love your sweater and those Sole Mate Heart socks! We’ve got snow predicted this weekend, so I’m betting you’ll have plenty of chances to wear it this season. Happy knitting!
I’m at the exact same point you are in the knitting. (I’m going to learn and use this new and magical SSK technique, too.) (And it does fly!!!) I am seriously CRUSHING on that new Piper collection. (It’s baaaaaad . . . my crushing. . . ) XO
PS – Lucky Sherman!
Congrats! Knit on! Looking forward to seeing you “show off” the sweater!
Cheers~
Go, Kat, go! I am inspired by your progress!
Carbeth is the sweater of the year and the years only begun! Looks great! I’m joining the Piper 2018 wagon train, too!
won’t be long now, once the sleeves are attached you get to the secret sauce of knitting 🙂
