The weekend just FLEW in my neck of the woods, which could be directly related to the amount of rainy weather that filled the days.
There was no outdoor cocktail hour because it was raining so hard. This also put the kibosh on a backyard bonfire, however, the indoor Tapas were excellent!
Saturday we had a successful trip to the local farmer’s market, managing to get in and out in between raindrops as well as a bit of retail therapy. (Yay for indoor activities!)
There was not much knitting, but there was some reading – although I did not finish any books.
There was a tiny bit of spinning though – this Whitefaced Woodland from Sheepspot is just amazing!
Today, I think will spend part of the day ripping back that darned sock while I catch up on Poldark. I hope you have Monday off, and if not, then may it be one you can ease into and it is over before you know it!
It’s still the weekend here although I had to go in for a work emergency for a few hours this morning. Now I plan to spend the rest of the day knitting, reading and cooking!
Hi! I took the day off from attending my weekly Monday quilting group meeting and tackled two projects that seem to go on for an eternity…happy to report progress on both fronts! On my way out the door for a late walk…the shadows are growing longer and show up earlier. Trust your frogging that darn sock was successful.
Cheers~
I had a sort of crazy Monday . . . not a day off in an official sense, but a day off (because every day is off for me). And sorry about the sock.
Hope you now have a finished fully size 14 sock! and maybe some of our beautiful blue skies have made their way north. Blue skies make just about everything seem better… happy Tuesday!
over here was a light drizzle and that turned out to be perfect for the craft fair we attended. The crowds were manageable. Do you cook all your outdoor patio events or eat at a restaurant?
